HCR is Halesowen College's very own radio station situated at the College in Block 2 in the AV suite on the first floor. HCR started back in 1998 as HCFM broadcasting on a loop around the college. As the station grew, more and more presenters have joined the station and it has continued to grow till this day. In 2003, the decision was made to aquire a LPAM licence for the radio station to broadcast on 1386AM and in 2007 to broadcast online. Other stations play the same old crap, but we don't
Radio Ceredigion - is an Independent Local Radio station serving Ceredigion in Mid Wales. It is owned and operated by Nation Broadcasting and broadcasts on 96.6, 97.4 and 103.3 FM from studios near the St Hilary transmitter in the Vale of Glamorgan. The station plays chart music from the 1980s to the present day, alongside local news, travel, Welsh language programming and community information.
